He broke up with me today. The year has barely started and he's already broken up with me. This relationship has had its good and bad, but I've never been with someone who would break up with me when they are upset. I think he's broken up with me 4-5 times. The first time was about 6 months into our relationship. He hooked up with another person the few months we were apart. Then he came crawling back .. it was what I wanted to happen. I wanted him back, but when he came I resisted. Soon I accepted him, we weren't together but we were together. It was weird, he didn't even call me his girlfriend until a year later. Afterward, he broke up with me about two more times. For ridiculous reasons too, and now this. He's broken up with me multiple times, and its come to the point where I don't cry anymore. He breaks up with me ignores me for two - three weeks and then when he's ready he comes back like nothing happened. AND I take him back.
So, I'm sure you're curious on why he broke up with me today? It was because today his sister-in-law was throwing his nephew a birthday party. I had already told him that it was also my mom's birthday and my family is the type to have last minute plans - which I also warned him that something might happen. And at the last minute right before we were going to head to his brother's house, I told him I couldn't go anymore. My sister called and told me that we were going out to lunch for my Mother's birthday. He was pissed, and when I left he text me that "we're over" - I responded with "K" because I didn't care. He later text me, "Jk, Jerk" and then "maybe."
I HATE HOW HE THINKS HE CAN CALL THE SHOTS IN THIS RELATIONSHIP.
This is a new year, I'm ready for a new me.
He's been texting me. I've set it so his calls get sent straight to voicemail. Now he's mad that I'm not responding to the texts.
